There are multiple types of implants and implant treatments with differing timeframes. NovaDenture treatment requires 3-4 appointments over a span of 4 months for existing denture wearers, however if you still have some teeth remaining this can be increased to 6-8 months in some cases. The time to complete treatment can vary due to the following factors: brand of implants placed, type of implant placed, quality of bone and if grafting is required.

Dental implants are typically placed where the best quality and quantity of bone is, usually at the front of your mouth. Placing implants in the front of the mouth is also preferred as there are no nerves to complicate implant placement.

You will only need a temporary denture made if you already are not wearing a denture. In the case where we remove teeth prior to implant placement, you may want to have a temporary denture made so you are not without teeth during the process. NovaDenture will quote you all fees prior to undertaking treatment.

NovaDenture is a solution to replace a full arch of missing teeth. If you still have some teeth that have a poor prognosis and you are looking at replacing the full arch, or you are currently wearing an existing traditional denture, then NovaDenture may be suitable. Maintenance is key to ensure the longevity of your investment. It is important to brush the implants and the denture morning and night with a soft toothbrush. It is also advised that you visit your dentist for regular 6 monthly examinations, to check the health and clean the implants. Like traditional dentures, NovaDenture should be removed for sleep to prevent fungal infections occurring.

It is possible to combine other dental treatment and NovaDenture. Existing denture wearers may find wearing an upper denture is tolerable however lower dentures moves around and dislodges easily. Combining dentures and NovaDenture is an affordable treatment option. Alternatively, combining NovaDenture with natural teeth and fixed implant options is also possible.
